Follow and control a running sync
Read progress, transfer speed and estimated time, and control a run from either device.
See the current run
Sync Space cards show active progress, transfer speed and estimated time remaining. Open the task for file-level details. The other participating computer also shows the run even when it was started elsewhere.
Pause, resume or cancel
Use the controls beside sync progress on either computer. Changes to the run status are reflected on the other device. Pause temporarily stops work; Resume continues an eligible paused run. Cancel stops the current run, not the Sync Space itself.
After completion
The active-progress section hides once the run has finished or no run is active. The card retains its last synced time. Review Activity for the completed run and any failed, skipped or conflicting items.
Understand speed estimates
Speed and remaining time vary with Wi-Fi signal, disk speed, file count and verification work. A few large files and many tiny files can behave differently. An estimate is not a completion guarantee.
