Walkthrough

Create your first Sync Space

Connect two folders and start a task in three steps.

1. Choose a mode

Open Sync Spaces and select One-way sync, Two-way sync, Real-time sync or Mirror sync. The mode is selected before you enter the creation steps. If you need automatic changes in both directions, choose the two-way option under Real-time sync.

2. Name the task and choose folders

Give the Sync Space a clear name. Select a source and destination, or Folder A and Folder B for two-way sync. Each device selector defaults to This computer. Other trusted computers appear after pairing.

You can select two folders on the same computer, such as C:\Folder-A and D:\Folder-B, or select a shared folder from another computer. See Share and select folders for cross-device setup.

3. Set rules and create

Continue to sync settings to configure filters, scheduling and protection. Review the folders, mode and deletion rules carefully, then create the Sync Space. An authorized task starts syncing automatically; you do not need to build a separate preflight.

When a folder still needs its owner’s selection or approval, complete that request on the owning computer first.

Deleting a Sync Space removes the task, not the folders or files it connects.
