Restore and manage Recovery copies

Find a protected copy

Open Activity → Recovery and locate the file or protected operation. Review its original path and available details before choosing Restore. Check for an existing newer file before accepting any replacement.

Add 30 days or undo

Select Add 30 days to extend retention for an eligible item. The action changes to Undo after adding time, allowing you to reverse that retention change. Undo affects retention; it does not restore the file.

Remove copies permanently

Use the permanent removal option for an item, or the button to remove all files in Recovery when you are certain none are needed. Read the confirmation carefully. Permanently removed Recovery copies cannot be restored by SyncKeeper.

Retention cleanup can remove expired copies. Restore or preserve anything you need before it expires.
